hi. does anyone out there know how to remove the
requiremnt to press ctrl + alt + dlt when booting up or
taking off a password-protected screensaver? i am
networked to a network and have a windows xp pc.
our 'it' man doesn't know how to do it, and microsoft
want to charge £185 to tell me!! i'd be very grateful!

many thanks

To disable toe ctrl+alt+delete requirement, in windows XP
do start, run and type secpol.msc. The local security
settings window will open on the 'security options' tree.
On the right look for 'Interactive logon' one of those
is 'Do not require CTRL+ALT+DEL' double click this one
and check the 'enabled' box. Then click ok and your done.

whoever told me the answer, thank you vbery very much
indeed. i really apprecaite it.
