CTRL-ALT-DELETE ignored at logon several times

B

Blake

We have several users complaining that they must press the CTRL-ALT-DEL
keystroke several times to get the logon window. All have Windows 2000 Pro,
SP4, on an AD domain. Our group policy enforces the requirement for the
keystroke to get the logon box.

Our field people have swapped out keyboards, to verify it wasn't a faulty
key.

Anybody seen this??

I can't say I've seen this. Does it still do it in Safe Mode? What if you
boot the computer, let it sit for about 10 minutes and the hit CTRL-ALT-DEL?
I just wonder if maybe it's more of a responsiveness issue from something
loading rather than the system ignoring the keystrokes entirely.

Did you get this resolved? I have a similar situation
when I try to logon locally. It seems like when there are
active clients, the Ctrl-Alt-Del are disabled, as soon as
the client has logged off, I can logon locally.
Any ideas are appreiciated.
