CTRL+ALT+DEL problems

A

Anonymous

When I hit CTRL+ALT+DEL in windows XP, reguardless of
what is running, it opens up the task manager as it
should, for a brief moment (less than a second) and then
it disapears. In the system tray (to the left of the
clock) it shows the task manager icon, but when I move my
mouse over it, it also disapears!

If you choose to email me, put "CTRL+ALT+DEL" in the
subject, so I know it isn't generic spam. Thanks.

W32.spybot worm disables NAV, Msconfig, Regedit and Task Manager:

The same symptom is caused due to Klez, Yaha Viruses. It is advisable to run
a full system scan. Be sure you update the anti-virus software definitions.
