CSS: Special key "first-letter" causes crash?

F

Fox Michaels

Hey guys. I'm able to reproduce this, wondering if it's
known or not. (A few sessions of sitting and trying to
find in in the MS site proved nothing..)

Certain CCS properties used with the "first-letter"
designator causes IE to crash.

Running 6.0SP1, with all the related IE updates.

Some of the offending tags (the ones I've been trying to
use, anwyays) are:
border-bottom; border-left; background-color;

You can re-create it here:
http://www.tsqmadness.com/Xcrawl/_main.html (nevermind
the content..)

It'll cause the following error:
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName:
mshtml.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2800.1400 Offset: 0004fa23

(Note that the values, whether 'standard' or not, do not
cause crashes in my Firefox 0.8, and Opera 7.11. Opera
ignores them, Firefox actually renders them)

Frontpage is also affected when you try to "preview" the
page.

Comments, suggestions? I tried to search to see where to
submit a bug-report, but couldn't find anything..

Me.
