IE crashes frequently with browseui.dll error

I use Window Millenium Edition. I recently downloaded IE
version 6.0 with SP1. After a few days, my IE has started
crashing frequently when i visit certain sites. My laptop
was affected by spyware and used Ad-aware and i use McAfee
for antivirus.

The error i get is
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName:
browseui.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2800.1400 Offset: 00007974

Its related to browseui.dll. Any thoughts?

I'm having the same issue except I'm running Windows XP
and recently downloaded the new service pack. All
available updates have been installed. Any information
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
