Cryptographic Services Missing!

I recently tried to update DirectX and received the dreaded "Windows XP Logo
Testing Failed" message! While trying to fix this problem, I doscovered that
Cryptographic Services is not showing up in the Control Panel/Administrative
Tools/Services menu. As far as I can tell, all the components for CRYPTSVC
are present on my system, but no matter what I've tried, it will not show up
in the Services menu. Someone please help! Thank you!
 
To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
