While I was downloading the patch for the latest worm, I
got an error message that says... Setup could not verify
the integrity of the fule Update.inf. Make sure the
Cryptographic servise is running on this computer.
What does that mean and how do I check?

Are YOU getting the following error when you try to install Windows XP
Service Pack 1?
"Service Pack 1 Setup Error:
Setup could not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure the
Cryptographic service is running on this computer"
Or
YOU are trying to install the Windows XP security patch 823980 - in
response to the msblast.exe worm and you are getting a similar error
message.
