DSL provider (SBCGlobal/Yahoo) checked all e mail settings and verified
correct. Using Outlook 2003 and Windows XP on a Gateway Laptop.
We have a main e mail account and one sub account. (2 user accounts on same
computer). Problem is: Incoming e mail crosses over - sub account e mail goes
to main account and main to sub. Help, please to (e-mail address removed). I
hope there is a solution. Thanks!!

Yes, both POP3 accounts have different/separate passwords. I'm able to switch
users without entering login id. Each account does have a unique id.
Vince, thanks for responding!!

Vince: Also, SBC advised the following is correct:
I went to TOOLS, E Mail Accounts, View or Change..., clicked on CHANGE, and
for both Name and Type went to MORE SETTINGS, ADVANCED TAB and under DELIVERY
checked "Leave a copy of messages on server". Did this in order to read e
mail from remote location. Thanks

What do you mean by "able to switch users without entering login id"? In
Windows?

Yes - in Windows. The two log in ids are on the log in screen and I can
switch users by clicking on the log in id and then enter the password. To
switch back and forth I use the windows key + L. Then, I'm back to the log in
screen and click on the other log in id and the enter the password for the
second one. The same e mails appear in both boxes. The "host" account has
been established for 2 years and the second user is fairly new.

Hmmm, this is gonna sound odd but have you tried switching the info between
the two users?

Well, if under User1 the settings are downloading User2's mail and vice
versa... switch the settings between the two accounts. Of course, I may have
completely misunderstood your issue, in which case I'm sorry.

Do you mean change the settings under Tools > Email Accounts> View or change
existing e mail accounts > Name & types (2 listed here on each account) -
switch the default ??? I want to be sure I understand just where to make the
switch. I don't think you mean switch the user account info, right?
