Critical Update

816093: Security Update Microsoft Virtual Machine
(Microsoft VM)

The following error appears after download:

"The Microsoft VM you are attempting to install is a
protected system component and can only be updated with a
later release of the operating system or service pack."

I have all the latest SP installed and running Windows
2000 Pro.

I have exhausted all other avenues including Knowledge
Database.

If anyone has a fix or advise I would greatly appreciate a
reply.
