Cricket noises

I hear cricket noises at times on my computer. I have the
lastest anti-virus software & updates. Any ideas?

Same thing happened to me and, yes, it was Weatherbug signalling a weather
alert although it had me going for a while before I figured it out.

I had the same thing when I was uing a weather program.
It can be configured to not leave that sound. The name
was WeaterBug.
