Creative Sound problems

I had trouble getting sound from the Creative Audigy 2ZS sound card after
upgrade from RC1 (5600) to 5728. This occurred even though I had installed
the latest Creative beta drivers for Vista. I found that if I put in the
Creative Software CD that originally came with the sound card into the CD
Drive and then went to the Device Manager and opened "update driver" for the
sound card (or, perhaps, it could be listed as an "unknown multimedia
device") - then navigated to the drivers folder on the Creative CD. The
drivers installed easily and the sound returned immediately. Hope this works
for you.

Yeah, I had the same problem with my integrated audio. My problem was with
the Media Center. I had sound for everything except the Media Center. I
just reinstalled the drivers the same way you did and it worked. Beware
the drivers that Vista installs on it's own.
