creating catalog/shopping cart

could someone point me in the direction on where to get info to create a
catalog and shopping cart? I know it takes some programming on the server
side. Where can i learn this? Are there premade scrips? thanks

Yes there are plenty of premade scripts - do a "Google" for "shopping cart
script"

I often use www.hotscripts.com - they have scripts for all sorts of applications
including shoping cart types, some of which interface with e-commerce sites like
PayPal, Ebay etc.

Scripts for languages like php, perl, asp, asp.net, C++, and javascript.
