Creating automated attachment text in email body

Using Outlook 2007, is there a way to automatically add a line within the
body of the email that shows the attachments' names. I have seen posts about
using rich text format, but that just places the actual attachment into the
body. I want just a line saying what files are attached.
I have seen multiple add-ins online to do this, but figured Outlook should
have something built in to handle this.

Can you recommend the best option then?

No, outlook doesn't have the capability. You need to use an addin.

I'd test the ones that offer free trials and see which one met my needs.

The utilities I'm most familiar with remove attachments on incoming messages
and save them to the file system with a link. The tools from sperry software
and mapilab are usually well written. See
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/attachments.asp for links to attachment
tools.
