Hi
The floppy disk is so that you can access the backup. Yes, the backup is
put onto the hard disk, different partition, CD etc. so that it can be
restored at a later date if needed. The floppy only contains the hard disk
configuration.

| create an ASR disk, it does a large backup on your hard
| drive. Unless I'm doing something wrong, or unless you
| have to do a backup on your hard drive as well as the ASR
| Floppy Disk. There was a way in previous versions of
| Windows to just create the Emergency Repair Disk, without
| haveing to do large backups on your hard drive at the
| same time. Do they work together and you need the backup
| on your hard drive to work with the ASR Floppy Disk?
