Creating a slide show for wedding

Guest

I have a major issue at hand. I am creating a still video for my sister's wedding. I have scanned in hundreds of pictures and saved them as jpegs. I have not used movie maker previous to this, but am very familiary with iMovie. I did a similar video with that software for my brother's wedding and found no issues. However, with movie maker, the pictures have become completely pixelated

I have imported the saved jpeg into the collections area. I viewed each picture in full screen view (which is the size i want for the video) and they are crystal clear. However when I drag them into the storyboard, set the trim and play the movie, the images are practically unrecognizable. When I view a single photo in the storyboard, and set it to full view, it is clear again, but the moment I play the movie, unclear. This is extremly confusing and ver frustrating

Can you offer ANY insight to 1. why this is happening? 2. how to prevent it? Do i need to rescan the images? I have pictures that I am using dating back 25 yrs. They are all different sizes, but again, when viewed individually, totally clear

AGH! help..

Thanks in advance

Hi Scott,

When you preview the project in the timeline or storyboard, you're seeing a
320x240 pixel, 15 fps working environment... it's low quality in order to
work quicker and be less taxing on the computer.

The true test is what you see in the saved movie..... test it by making a
short clip at the quality you'll be saving to.

DV-AVI is the highest quality for your saved movie, and it's the same using
Movie Maker or iMovie.
