creating a directoy in xp

i would like to create a temporary directory. how do i go
about it? Please e-mail me the info at
(e-mail address removed) xp is a whole new experience for me.
Thanks in advance.
 
It's no different than in any other version of Windows (excluding 3.X). File > New > Folder.
