Need help resetting my desktop shortcuts. I found a shortcut here once
from Ramesh to open the Explorer tree and I have the text but don't
remember how to set it up so I have an icon on the desktop.

Here is the command line - C:\Windows\Explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\

If I paste this into the "Run" box, it works great.

Hi Steve,

Right click on the desktop and select New then Shortcut.
Paste the following command into the "Type the location of the item"
box of the new shortcut.

%windir%\Explorer.exe /n,/e

Click next and rename as needed then click Finish.

Hi Steve,

You could go to Start>Programs>Accessories, right-click on Windows Explorer
then select Send To>Desktop (Create Shortcut). Right-click on the newly
created Windows Explorer shortcut, select Properties then key in (or
copy/paste) C:\Windows\Explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\ in the Target field, click on
Apply then OK.

Regards,
