Created account....lost files.

I have never created an account since I have had this computer, I guess I was just logged on as default administrator for the past year or so. Well, I created an account for a friend of mine so she would not change my settings or anything without asking or thinking about it. Since I did this last night, I have not been able access ANY files I have EVER SAVED!!!!!!! I performed a system restore, but the only checkpoint was at 5:03am this morning. Obviously, this brought me no luck. Well, if anyone can give me any instruction on how to get all of this back, I would be much obliged. These files contained a lot of important, rare information and photos

Thank you so much

When you created your firends account the "default Administrator" account that
you were foolishly using automatically went into hiding.
Its still there its just accesible under "safe Mode"
You need to create a 3rd account with administrator privileges and then restart
XP with a seperate user(maybe your friends if she has administrator rights??)
right click MyComputer"....properties.............advanced............user
profiles/settings
Highlight the administrator account
click copy to
browse to C:\documents&settings\your 3rd account
click ok................all admin settings will be copied to this 3rd account
ok your way out
restart and sign in as that 3rd account and all of your previous settings/files
should be there
