Create Venn Diagrams with different sized circles

Can anyone help me create Venn Diagrams efficiently? I am trying to use the
Venn diagram function, but it only allows me to create circles of the exact
same size. And their sizes cannot be edited.

PowerPoint 2002 and up have this (I don't remember about prior versions
off-hand).

You will need to turn off the auto-format (under layout) to change the size
of just one circle.

thanks -- took me a while to see the layout at the bottom. I thought turning
off autoformat would have done it.
