create shortcut

Ting

Hello,

I want to create shortcuts for each file of search results locally,
i.e. each result file gets a shortcut in its own folder.

Is there any way?

thanks in advance.

Press Ctrl/A to select all, right-click one, click Send To: Desktop
(Create Shortcut). Select all the shortcuts, right-click, click Cut,
open the destination folder, right-click, click Paste.

There are quicker ways, such as highlighting all, right-click and drag
to the new folder. When there, select "Create shortcuts here".

Also...

Right click a file and select Open Containing Folder. Windows Explorer will
open the folder containing the file with the file highlighted.

instead of pasting to one folder, is there any quick way to
paste each shortcut to its own original destination folder?

Open whatever folder, right click on whatever file and click on Create
Shortcut. Create Shortcut creates a shortcut in the same folder. The
shortcut then can be copied, dragged or otherwise moved to another location.
I.e. click the new shortcut to highlight it, click on the Edit menu on the
toolbar and select Move To. Or use Move this file from the Tasks pane.
