Create linked table on local machine to FrontPage database

I have a database on our web server using FrontPage. The
connection is super-slow when I need to get into it. Is
there a way to copy the database to my local machine and
then just link to the data TABLE on the web server? I
keep getting error messages.

If you use asp pages to connect to the server, you'll find that it is very
fast, even over a dialup connection.
