Create Default IE profile

I am using Content Advisor and registry edits to limit
users' access to particular web pages. To enforce this,
I have used registry edits to eliminate the address bar,
browser options, etc.. For navigation, I have set
up "links" to the necessary web pages.

2 problems:

-This works fine on my machine.
-On the machine in question existing users have all
the "locks" created with the registry edits, but do
not "inherit" the custom links I have created.
-Also on that machine, new users (with no local W2K
profile) cannot load anything into IE. Any attempt to
start the application produces a "page cannot be found"
error.

I think I need to:
- Force the home page FOR ALL USERS through a reg edit.
Suggestions?
and
-Force the "links"/preferences from the "master" account
in which I created the "profile"
Suggestions?

I need to get over these last couple of hurdles
yesterday. Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you places the links in their favorites folder in
someway? Thru scripts or by place them in by hand.

Are you using a proxy? If so the new users my not be
picking up the proxy settings.

There is a GPO setting which can do this for you assumming
you use a Windows Domain.
and
-Force the "links"/preferences from the "master" account
in which I created the "profile"

Scripting is probly your best answer.
