There are times I want to keep a phrase together and not wrap around to the
next line. For example, November 13, 2004 or Alphred E. Newman. Please
tell me the command to make a "space" a "hard space." Many thanks.

Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar for a nonbreaking space. Ctrl+Shift+Hyphen for a
nonbreaking hyphen.
