Crashing - My Excel VBA works on my Pc but not on others

Hi,

I am having lots of problems with VBA crashing and generally being ver
unreliable / unstable.

The trouble is, they worked ok on my PC (Excel 2002 SP3) but not on m
clients - range from Excel 2000 no SP to Excel 2003 SP3.

I am always getting the "Your program has crashed do you want me t
recover and report to MS etc message"

The problem seems worse when I include Combo Boxes on forms and I en
up getting lots of spurious change events. I have tried putting in lot
of traps and code to disable the combos when not needed etc but still
am getting problems.

Are there any known combo box bugs or work arounds ?

They are becoming embarrasing (and costing me money!).

Can anyone suggest where I could get some guidance / help / furthe
info.

Hi Tony

It could be just anything. But you don't have a chance unless you develop in
the lowest version that your clients use. Get 2000 at once, or you're
working blindfolded. (It's perfectly ok to have multiple versions on the
same computer. Install in separate folders, install chronologically and say
No to all replace/overwrite prompts).
