crashing for ? reason and net nanny failure

my xp keeps just turning off for no apparent reason, also
net nanny is asking for my password (administrator) then
fails to open and talks about nn-tray - if anyone can
talk me through what the problem may be it would be
really helpful. I have only given minimal details for now
