I loaded XP onto my pc after loading 2000 about a year
ago. Now, I can't get past the 'choose' which program
you want to run' screen. When I choose one, it tells me
I loaded new hardware that needs to be deleted. How do I
do this?

It sounds - from your very vague description - that you upgraded a Win2k
system with WinXP and perhaps have hardware/software that is
incompatible with XP. Perhaps a CDRW drive? Try starting your computer
with a clean boot and stripped down to just the motherboard, hard
drive, and video card. If you can't do this, take your computer to a
good local computer shop (not a CompUSA/BestBuy type store).
