This is probably a stupid question, but is there anyway to
retrieve a page you have been working on if the program
crashes? The Dr. Watson box came on the screen and then
went white, and then the program just shut down.

Hi
depending on your Excel version Excel's autorecovery may
help you (Excel 2002+)

If you restart Excel, it will show if there're some files
which have been recovered.

If this does not happen you're out of luck -> save often :-
)

And if you're not using xl2002+, maybe this will help if/when xl crashes in the
future:

Jan Karel Pieterse's addin called AutoSafe (note spelling).

It doesn't overwrite the existing workbook when it saves. It saves to a user
selectable folder. And when it's done, it either deletes these backups (or puts
them in the recycle bin). And the user can always restore the backups from the
recycle bin.

(look for AutoSafe.zip, not autosafeVBE.zip, for your purposes.)

(And you can use it with xl2002+, too--instead of autorecovery.)
