Please help me on this. This is a new PC with Win XP
pro. I only use this PC to watch videos. I don't even
play games on it. The window has updated all drivers and
I am running the built in video and sound from the mother
board. (ASUS A7V8X) There is nothing else on this board
and when I am running Window Media Player 9.0 it
SOMETIMES crash and restart the PC. Than I get an error
after sending it to microsoft it come back as "error
caused by a device driver" Now THERE are no new driver
on this MB just what it came with, and what I DL from
window's update.
After checking the event system log. I get a system
error category 102, event ID 1003. Error code 000000d1,
parameter1 8207a486, parameter2 00000002, parameter3
00000000, parameter4 f82f4cbe.

I tried to reinstall windows XP and i got the same
problem. I download a mem tester and it passed. Than I
DL a HD tester and its fine. So I am now thinking its
either the MB or the CPU that is bad??? any idea?

FIRST of all, DON'T update yer drivers from M/S..
Go to the card manufacture's website and get your updates
for both the video card and the sound.....
('sides PORN is bad for ya)
