crash on find and replace

I am using an access database for file management; when i use the "find" and
"replace" function the database crashes (and closes). The information is
updated but it is very disconcerting.
 
When you Find and Replace anything at all or just certain things? For
any hope of help you'll probably have to characterize your problem
environment a bit.

If it's only certain operations then figure out what's different. If
it's on every F&R operation on anything in your application then I'd
uninstall and re-install Access.
