Crash and auto reboot upon installation

I'm having a problem installing Vista RTM. On the last part of the
installation, when the PC reboots, after the Vista loading screen, a blue
screen flashes (too quickly to even read the error code) and the PC
automatically reboots.

Is this any known problem?

I'm running an Athlon XP 3200, 1GB ram, Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe mobo, GeForce4
Ti 4200 video card, SATA hard drive with onboard SiS controller.

Turn off the auto-reboot, and post back what error is shown on the BSOD.
(Right click on Computer -> Properties -> Advanced System Settings -> Startup
and Recovery Settings -> uncheck 'Automatically Restart').

I had a similar issue with Abit A8N 32x SLI mobo...it only happened after I
updated the AC'97 onboard driver (audio). I updated the driver with one from
the Abit site (supposedly the latest) but it did the same thing. If I booted
into "Safe Mode", and disabled the sound driver, Vista RC2 loaded just fine.
I found an updated driver on Realtek's website (only released a couple of
days ago-11/30), installed it and it works great. Here's the link:

Hope that helps....
