Crash Analysis is a Black Hole?

XP professional has crashed several times in recent
weeks, and I have always sent Microsoft the Crash
Analysis information. When I try to access Microsoft's
Crash Analysis results - their site says I have not
submitted anything. I have tried under both of my msn
accounts - always nothing to report. Any ideas?

1) Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, look
for a clue.
2) Start, (Settings), Control Panel, System, Advanced,
Startup & Recovery, Settings, uncheck Automatically
Restart under System Failure and maybe you'll get a clue
next time it happens.
3) Always run the Critical Updates in Windows Updates.
4) Have an anti-virus program running and keep it updated.
5) Get SpyBot AND AdAware and run them regularly (search
Google, they're FREE)
6) Make sure the Internet Connection Firewall is enabled
for your Internet Connection.
Do this LAST !
7) Start, Run, type MSCONFIG and hit OK, go to the Startup
tab and uncheck ONE item at a time, hit Apply, restart as
directed and see if the problem recurs. If it does, run
MSCONFIG again, turn the item you turned off ON again and
go to the next one (and turn it off, Apply, OK, restart).

Also check for updates for your video and NIC drivers.

Microsoft are not going to work on your crash info and then report back to
you! They use the info for statistical purposes and ifa lot of problems
arise in a particular area then theymight work on a fix. But they arent
going to do a personal analysis and fix for you.

You would be better off posting the errors here (Just the details, not the
dump file!)

No, the error message defintely didnt include the words 'you ****ing moron'
and the reason I posted it was that;
1) I have *never* seen anyone here report microsoft getting back to them
after a crash analysis,and
2) Do the math..they couldnt possibly investigate more than some tiny (and
insignificant) percentage of hits,
and
3) It wouldnt be worth their while to do, what would be much better *for
all* is to look for serious errors occurring in particular areas and focus
on fixing those;

But individual 1-1 answers for your dump analysis is a pipe dream,and anyone
who believes thats what they'll get,
