CPU Usage

Dear All

I have recently upgraded from Windows ME to
XP. The majority of the time my CPU is running
at full (100% on the CPU Usage monitor on the
Task Manager) meaning everything I do is really
slow. Only once have I managed to get it to run
normally (ie 0% when nothing is actually happening).

I only have a firewall and virus software running
in the background.

Any ideas what is using this power?

Any help will be gratefully received

you didn't give us enough info. but my guess would your

cpu and memory isn't enough.. you need to upgrade.
