CPU usage

With nothing running on my computer, CPU usage is always
showing as 100%. System is using 1% and the rest is
equally shared by Services.exe, wupdate.exe, nds.exe and
msr.exe.
I would appreciate any help at all with this proble.

Thanks in anticipation.

does wengs, subseven, or dolly mean anything to you?? those are trojans,
keyloggers, and adware that frequently use those exe names.

Thanks for your prompt response
I have managed to delete nse.exe and msr.exe, but the
processor usage has stayed at 100% used between
Services.exe and wupdate.exe.
The system will not let me do anything with these
applications.
Does anyone know of a good program to remedy this
situation.
Thanks once again.

here is what you need to do.
1. remove this computer from the internet immediately to stop further data
loss and the spread of the infection.
2. because some of those program were spyware/keyloggers you must consider
any bank account or credit card number that has been on that machine as
compromised and cancel them immediately.
3. because some of those programs may have been trojans that allowed someone
else to control your computer you can not trust anything that is still on
there. copy off critical data files and then reformat and reinstall the
operating system. DO NOT put a machine on the internet without a firewall
and good virus scanner, not even long enough to download windows updates!

so much for my morning paranoid rant... time for more caffiene.

check the processes running in Task Manager and the memory usage. You could try shutting down processses ubtil the problem clears, but you should know what the processes do.
