CPU Performance

CCCPU Performance is 100% at all times and the
applications are very slow,ran spy bot ,and Norton still
the same
 
Look at the processes tab on the task manager to find the offending process.
That's step 1.

Look at NG microsoft.public.windows.windows_update. Check patch
KB835732. It brought many W2K Pro users to a slow system. It may help if
you trusted MS.
