My cpu seems to lose the date not time just the day. sometimes It ahead by 1
day and sometimes its a day behind it happens close to the end of each mouth.
anybody got any idels why this mat happen? thk you for your time

This could be a sign that the CMOS/BIOS battery is loosing the power to retain
info. You can normally replace it since it is usually a watch (coin) type
battery which are not too expensive.

Highly uinlikely that a bad battery would cause the date to be wrong, but
keep the correct time. I don't have another suggestion, but I doubt very
much if that's the cause.
