What is the easyest way to put a counter in a local webpage (Intranet).

If the page is being "served" from a server with FrontPage extensions, click Insert > Web Component
and then select "Hit Counter."

Please note that you have to publish your webpage for the counter to work. If
you dont publish your webpage, you will just find a X box on the webpage
where you wanted a counter.
