Could not start the Windows Defenders Service

Hi,

The below is the mesasge iam getting while trying to start the service. If
any one who have experienced this issue,pls help me.

"could not start the windows defender service service local computer
error 2147942402:the system cannot find the file specified"
 
Hello Saravana,

The Windows Defender service depends on RPC--so be sure that RPC is not
disabled.

Hi Engel,

Thanks for your reply.

I have installed the win defendors software on a 2000 server machine & RPC
is also running. But Still iam facing the issue.
