could not reconnect all network drives

Several users on our network get the following error message, in the form of
a bubble on the bottom right of the screen: could not reconnect to all
network drives. However, when opening "my computer" to check the status, all
mapped drives appear and are accessible. I was very surprised (and less than
thrilled) that after much searching, I could not find anything in the
knowledge base to shed any light on this. I will keep looking, but any help
would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

I have the same problem. Has anyone found a fix yet?

Some detail about what computers host the shared drives, that your computer
tries to connect to, might be helpful here. Remember that the various Windows
non-server operating systems have concurrent connection limits.

Also note that unused connections expire. So, a server with all 10 connections
in use right now, may have one available in 10 seconds. If a connection becomes
available, and your computer tries to connect repeatedly, it may get that newly
available connection. Then the computer that just lost its connection (timed
out) will go thru the same process that your computer just went thru.
