corupt recycle bin

When rebooting my computer, I get the message that "the
recycle bin on drive D: is corrupted". This is my second
hard drive used for storage. Each time the computer
reboots, it runs check disk before getting to the
desktop. Can someone please tell me how to repair this
error?
