corupd.exe application error

Everytime I turn off my comp. I get this window that pops up along with a
loud noise saying "The instruction 0x7c809783 refrenced memory at 0x0042c1b4
the memory could not be "written"
click on ok to terminate the program.

Every since this I have been having minor difficulties with stuff mostly my
ipod.
Please help Im completely confused and need something to be done or im going
to throw this thing!!!
 
AFAIK, this is an executable used by Corel

1) contact the Corel news-groups or support
1a) update your version of Corel to the latest and greatest including
patches
2) find the file and rename it (for now, until you get support from Corel)
