Corrupted shell32.dll

When I turned on my computer this AM, it wouldn't boot
(hung up in "Starting WIndows 2000 professional"). I
attempted a repair with the original 2000 disc (also tried
with two other disc - all original win200) and keep
getting "Unable to copy shell32.dll, you may have a bad
CD".

How do I get a non-corrupted copy of shell32.dll back on
my system?

You could possible have bad memory (RAM) on that computer... Again is just
possible!
