On several occasions, I got a message <The Recycle bin on C:\ is corrupted.
Do you want to empty the Recycle bin for this drive?> Why this message pops
up? It didn't before. How to fix the Recycle bin and stop this message from
re-appearing?

Kelly,
thanks for your suggestion. I looked into this article and followed all the
instructions on your web site, however, was unable to open the Dc?? folders
because <Access denied>. I checked the ownership in the Safe mode, it was OK
(user1 has full access).
Also, it seems to me, that from the beginning, I had only Recycle bin on my
WinXP Home. After I installed Norton AV and then uninstalled it, I noticed a
RECYCLER folder on my C:\ drive and the Recycle bin became a subfolder of
it. I'd like to delete RECYCLER, but so far was unable to. A Nprotect
subfolder (a remnant of NAV) sits there and nothing will remove it...
Is there anything I can do to get rid of Nprotect and Recycler? I've read
all the suggestions on your site, but, unfortunately, nothing seems to work
all the way...
Thanks again for your help.
Ilya
