corrupted profile

My friends computer worked fine yesterday. When she turned it on today
she got a message "windows cannot load your profile and is logging you on
with a temporary profile..." Nothing we tried was of any help. How can
she get her old profile to load? Which newsgroup deals with this sort of
problem?

If the profile is corrupted, this will provide you with a way to remove the
corrupted profile and create a new one.
