corrupted profile question

Its usually the Registry, or a portion of the user's part, that's become
corrupted.
 
It may be a number of things, but most often it seems to
be the ntuser.dat file that is stored within the profile folder
documents and setting\accountname and which is a major
portion of the per account registry

Doug/Roger, thanks for this information.
I have more curiousity though, which path in the registry
(using regedit) reflects the contents of NTUSER.DAT?

Or, is only the current user shown in the registry (hkey-users)?
