corrupt xp help and support center

cannot get into my xp help and support center.."missing dll's"......is there
a way i can fix this without losing what i have on the computer...have tried
system restore with no luck.....tks

don't know...just started giving me error message... unable to find start
point . can not locate dll...unable to load.....hp gave me a few things to
try and one cause me not to be able to get into help and support at all
"unable to find helpctr.exe."....can get into from through program
campatability wizard but still will not load anything on the right side of
home page.....adjust startup., etc, etc......don't even know which dll it is
anymore...tried looking that up so i could download the dll.....anywhere i
can just download and enter new help and support program....bill

yes i did try the links.....did not help....can't seem to find paper i wrote
info on....system would not take command....tried d/l dll.....no go...sorry
for delay in getting back to you.....had four night work week to tend
to....not much time for puter at that time.....any other
suggestions????.....tks so far .....bill

If you had a WinXP CD you could have tried:

But I'm assuming you dont as you mention "HP"

If Kelly's site couldn't help with all her suggestions, then there isn't anything I
can add.
