Bailey's Dad

I have a client who has the following:

Outlook 2000 running on Windows 2000 SP4.

His PST file is not grossly oversize...only around 200mb....but it goes back
to 1997.

He is wanting to archive, or create subfolders by year which he can manually
move old e-mails into...just for better organization.

Problem is this...in the Inbox, mails older than about 1999 cannot be moved
or deleted. It is only certain mails, but it is preventing archiving or
moving mail from the Inbox.

I ran the Scanpst.exe utility, but it found no errors.

All other folders (Sent items, etc) have no problems.

All advice and insight is appreciated!

Did you cleared the Deleted Items folder? What error do you get when you try
to delete the message(s)
