Corrupt font message at start up of Office programs

Hi
Have just reinstalled OS X, loaded studio copy of Office but when I start
Word/Excel/PP i get an error saying fonts are corrupted and have to click
"OK" for every font. We all have the same system, and fonts but this problem
is unique to me!

I am a graphic designer so use lots of varied and wonderful fonts from
everywhere, so it is a real hassle to turn everything off just to start Word.
Also, i need to switch between the two programs quite a bit.

I use FontBook for font management, no other program.

My fonts work in all other programs (Adobe, etc) but not Office.

Any ideas?

Thanks
John

Hi John -

This is about the most comprehensive & accurate body of info on the issue:

http://word.mvps.org/Mac/CorruptFontErrors.html

You don't specify, so I also have to ask - since you do mention reinstalling
OS X - have you applied the updates for it & run Repair Disk Permissions
since doing so. Be certain to use the Combo updaters from the Apple site
rather than leaving it in the hands of Software Update.

BTW, what do you mean by "studio copy of Office"?
