corrupt file

can anyone help me with this , when i turn on computer it was saying i had a
corrupt file and that it was checking and fixing the problem but it would
happen ever time i started computer and also it seemed like it was attacking
my anti virus because i would get a small box saying it was corrupt and could
not be read does anyone know what that was and what could cause it thank
you

What file? What is the error message? Try and tell us exactly. Is your
antivirus program up to date? Have you run a full antivirus scan with
updated definitions? Have you installed and run up to date antispyware
programs?
