Every second or third time I shut down Window XP Pro on my AMD 64 machine, I
get a message that the system cannot start because there is a corrupt
config, or some such. I have to boot off the CD and run CHKDSK /f to
recover.
What is this problem? A shutdown problem, a disk problem or what? What can
I do to figure this out?
