corrupt application file

I got a corrupt messgae on the application file - I went into Application
Properties and clicked the General Tab - Size 589KB - Modified 2-7-06 -
Accessed 2-07-06 - Overwrite as needed is checked
Max:Log size - 512 KB
Can I click on Clear Log to fix this problem? Would this cause my computer
to Hang

Yes, you can clear the logs, but you should also bump up the size to
something a lot larger....I'd try 20MB or so. Same with the system log.
"Overwrite as needed" is fine. See if this fixes the issue you're having. If
not, post back with more details about the exact problems you're having.

drive is doing funny things-
